Fundamental Rights

Fundamental Rights are covered in Chapter 3 of the Indian Constitution from article 12 to 35.

Article 12 covers the Definition of State. Article 13 contain provisions for Judicial Review.

6 Fundamental Rights are as Follows:- 

  1. Right to equality (Articles 14–18)
  2.  Right to Freedom (Articles 19–22)
  3. Right against exploitation (Articles 23–24)
  4. Right to freedom of religion (Articles 25–28)
  5. Cultural and educational rights of minority groups (Articles 29–30)
  6. Right to constitutional remedies (Article 32)

Exception – Right to property was deleted by 44th Constitutional Amendment Act, 1978 ( 300A-part 12 ). So total 6 now, before 44CAA there were 7.
